The Board of Directors of Westmoreland Cleanways and Recycling announces that, after 23 years of service, Executive Director Ellen Keefe is retiring! Applications are now being accepted to find her successor.
Westmoreland Cleanways and Recycling (WCR) proudly serves Westmoreland County residents, municipalities and businesses as the premiere recycling organization in the county and beyond. As Westmoreland County’s Recycling Coordinator, WCR serves as a liaison with municipal officials and the PA Department of Environmental Protection to ensure compliance with Pennsylvania’s recycling laws.

Recycling Technical Assistance
Illegal Dumping and Littering
Westmoreland Cleanways’ Recycling Collection facility in Greensburg provides a convenient place to recycle hard-to-dispose items such as electronics, tires, scrap metal, paper, foam and more.
The Executive Director works with the volunteer Board of Directors to run the organization: operations and programming; administrative functions; media and community relations; regulatory compliance; budgeting; board and staff relations, and more.
