We are very pleased to announce Westmoreland Cleanways is now able to accept corrugated plastic signs, often referred to as coroplast. These signs are essentially plastic cardboard, and are made from three layers of thin, polypropylene plastic. The signs are typically found in yards or along roadways that advertise political campaigns, community
events, real estate sales, and even tradespeople.
We do ask that the stands (and grommets) be removed from the signs prior to visiting the center. The metal stands can be placed in our scrap metal bin, and the signs will be dropped off at the paper/cardboard drop off area.
The signs will be accepted during our regular operating hours:
Monday: Noon-5pm
Wednesday: 8am-1pm
Friday: 8am-1pm
2nd Saturday of each month from 8:30-Noon
However, if you have a LARGE number of signs, please call the office to make special arrangements for drop off.
