We are GETTING items in our plastic collection bins that we DO NOT ACCEPT!
We do accept clean and dry PLASTIC BAGS, PLASTIC WRAP and PLASTIC FILM, but NOT in the yellow bins. Drive those inside the warehouse and hand them to a staff member.
Otherwise, please remember that we DO NOT ACCEPT the following items:
- DO NOT ACCEPT PLASTIC TOYS
- DO NOT ACCEPT PLASTIC BUCKETS
- DO NOT ACCEPT PLASTIC CASES OR BOXES FROM DRILLS/SAWS/OTHER TOOLS OR ITEMS
- DO NOT ACCEPT PLASTIC LAWN FURNITURE
- DO NOT ACCEPT HOUSE-HOLD TRASH OR FURNITURE
- DO NOT ACCEPT MATTRESSES
These items continue to show up in our collection bins – YES, SOME ONE PLACED A MATTERSS IN OUR PLASTIC RECYCLING BIN! Our employees must pull these items out of the bins before we can send them to our processor. If we continue to get these “UN ACCEPTED ITEMS” placed in our plastic collection bins, we may be forced to dis-continue our plastics collection.
If you bring plastic items to our facility and you are unsure IF we accept it, please ask one of our employees for clarification BEFORE YOU PLACE IT IN OUR COLLECTION BINS. Thank-you!
