Every visit to our recycling center helps protect our community and your attention to safety while at the center helps protect everyone on site.
Drive Slowly
Staff members, customers, and heavy equipment may all be sharing the same space, so staying alert and driving slowly gives everyone more time to react.
Leave Space Between Cars
Leave plenty of space between your vehicle and the one in front of you. Extra room allows everyone to safely access the items, open doors or tailgates, and move around without feeling crowded.
Put the Car in Park
Before our staff unloads the material from your vehicle, put your car in park. A vehicle that rolls unexpectedly can create a serious safety hazard for employees, other visitors, and nearby vehicles.
Use caution when exiting
Watch when leaving the facility. There are 2 exit points, either thru the building or between the two buildings, but they both come together in the front lot. When exiting to the road, you also have to contend with people entering the property. Keep an eye out for other cars or even staff, as we walk from building to building.
By following these simple habits you’re helping create a safer environment for our employees and fellow visitors. Thank you for helping us keep safety our top priority.
